These terms cover use of plaingame.app, an independently operated game. The game is free to play and is not affiliated with playplain.app.

Playing and accounts

You must be at least 13 to create an account. Keep account credentials private and provide information you are entitled to use. A guest session can be lost if you clear the browser’s cookies. Export your passport or use an available account provider if you need a portable record.

Fair play and community

Do not automate attempts to manipulate rankings, bypass access controls, overload the service, impersonate another player or use group names and nicknames to harass people. We may restrict abusive access. Scores are for entertainment, with no money, prizes or financial value attached.

Shared links

Anyone who holds a group invitation can join that group. Challenge links expose the shared nickname and score. Share links only with the audience you intend. Other group members keep their own records when you leave or delete an account.

Data and availability

Game answers use published snapshots, defined scopes and rounding. They are not live measurements or professional advice. Sources and attribution are listed with answers and on the Sources page. Report suspected errors through Contact. We may correct data for future puzzles while preserving earlier puzzle versions. The service may be interrupted, updated or discontinued.

Privacy and contact

The Privacy policy explains account, gameplay and analytics data. Questions, corrections and requests can be sent through the Contact form. These terms do not remove rights that applicable law gives you.
