Plain Game practice.
Your pace. Your topic.

Finished the daily flight? Keep playing with repeatable seven-question practice. Choose Relaxed for no timer, or add a clock when you want a challenge. You can play as a guest.

Choose relaxed practice →

Opens your practice settings. Your unfinished flight stays saved until you choose to replace it.

Unlimited practice, with three ways to fly.

There is no once-per-day practice quota and no need to wait for the daily reset. Each new flight draws another route from a fixed question bank, so familiar facts can appear again. Unlimited play does not mean an endless supply of unique questions.

UNTIMED

Relaxed

No timer · 3 hints

Time to think, read the source and learn from the reveal. Waiting does not cost altitude.

Choose Relaxed →
TIMED PRACTICE

Standard

30 seconds · 2 hints

Add the same answer-time limit as daily play. Practice bonuses still differ from daily scoring.

Choose Standard →
TIMED PRACTICE

Expert

20 seconds · 1 hint

A shorter deadline and less help. Use it when you want faster decisions.

Choose Expert →

Hints are optional and cost 20% of that round’s points. Timed practice has time drift. Combo points, a boost and the Golden Round can also affect altitude. Compare flights with the same rules; a higher untimed score is not evidence that you beat a timed daily result. Compare scoring rules.

Choose what you want to practise.

Name the closest

Read a target value and select a named thing near it. Build a vocabulary of useful reference points.

Practise name the closest →

Number estimate

Read the question and enter a value in the displayed unit. Useful for practising scale or calendar years.

Practise number estimate →

Mixed flight combines question types. Year topics use numerical estimates. You can change the topic, format and pace together in the setup before starting.

Pick one of 27 topics.

A focused flight keeps all seven questions in your chosen topic. These links preselect Relaxed practice; change the pace or question type in setup if you prefer. The source list explains each topic’s scope and accepted names.

What happens to my result?

Complete seven rounds, review the answers and sources, then choose another practice flight or share that route with a friend. Starting new practice does not replace your daily score or add a second daily result to group standings.

Guest progress belongs to the current browser passport. Clearing site data can disconnect it. Use an account to return to the same server-saved passport across devices. A Profile export is a readable record, not an importable backup.

When should I use training instead?

Practice is open exploration. Weak-spot training keeps a focus across a baseline, coached practice and a matched retest, followed by later reviews. If you want a method for improving the estimate itself, use the estimation guide.
