At midnight in America/New_York. The local time in other countries changes when New York switches daylight-saving time. The game shows a countdown.

Yes, everyone gets the same seven daily targets and Golden Round. Practice uses a different seed, and a challenge link preserves the host’s seed and rules.

No. The server keeps a daily round’s start time. Refreshing or switching tabs does not create extra time. You can leave between rounds without a running question timer.

It may be outside the topic’s scope, unknown in the snapshot or ambiguous. Read the message and choose a suggestion. A rejected name does not use up the round, but the clock continues.

Scoring uses proportional distance, so being twice too large is equivalent to being twice too small. Year questions have separate year-distance rules.

Your daily ranked attempt is fixed. Free flight gives you more games with topics, difficulty, hints and formats; Survival gives you a longer run.

Practice offers 3, 2 or 1 hints depending on difficulty. Using one reduces that round’s points by 20%, and its use stays with the saved flight.

One daily round doubles points. It is the same round for everyone, and you find out after answering.

Finish a flight and share its link. A friend opens the same questions and rules, then compares round gains and final altitude. Old offline links still work; their scores are clearly labelled self-reported.

No. Create a group and copy its invitation. A guest can join with a nickname. Anyone holding the invitation can join, so share it with the people you want in your crew.

Only completed daily flights scored by the server. Weekly standings add each pilot’s completed daily flights from Monday in the New York game calendar. Practice, challenges and old device imports do not count.

A guest session uses a browser cookie and the game server, with local progress on the device. Clearing cookies can disconnect a guest passport. An optional account lets you sign back in across devices when its provider is available.

Yes. Old records migrate into your passport and retain reliable achievements. They are marked as device imports and cannot enter server-ranked group standings. Unknown old unlock dates are not invented.

Every seven played daily games in an unbroken streak earn one freeze, up to two. A missed day automatically spends one to preserve your streak; it does not count as a played day.

Badges are permanent achievements. Tap one to see its condition, progress and unlock date. Clearing the browser can remove an offline passport, so export or connect an account if you want a backup.

Open Settings for direct Dark, Light or System choices, sound and volume, reduced effects, high contrast, units and analytics.

Settings includes reminders, browser notification support and a calendar download. Browser reminders skip days you have completed and respect quiet hours. Calendar events repeat regardless of whether you played.

Yes, in the Archive after each New York day ends. Today’s answers are never published there before reset.
